I am happy to introduce some new design work…
The ‘Consumption’ Porcelain Dinnerware Collection
We are conditioned by our culture to take for granted what we consume. In a consumerist society it is considered healthy. We are just ‘doing our part’ and ‘contributing to society’ by consuming. The new ‘Consumption’ collection, however, sheds a different light on our habits. [...]

This coming weekend is the beginning of New York Design Week and the International Contemporary Furntiure Fair. In addition to ICFF there will be many design exhibitions, installations, gallery openings, showroom luncheons (what a terrible word), parties, etc. all over the city. Since I never like to miss out on the fun I will be [...]

Follow the link and then click ‘view print magazine’ at the bottom and go to page 50. Many thanks to our [...]

I went last night to the launch party of Tristan Eaton’s most recent character creation, ‘Billy Bananas’, at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery. I am a big fan of Tristan’s work and all the creative stuff that comes out of his Thunderdog Studios. His most well known character, of course, is the amazing ‘Dunny’ he designed for Kidrobot, one [...]

We are thrilled to be included in this month’s ‘Generation Green’ selection at Target’s Red Hot Shop online. Our new ‘WRD’ (Water Ready to Drink) Bottle was considered to have sufficient ‘Target-ness’ and at the same time ‘Green-ness’ to be picked for the April collection.
A continuation on the ‘War On Plastic’ theme of our Greenaids, [...]

Lovegrove + Repucci have recently added a new product to our collection.
The new ‘Urban(e)’ Silk Scarf
Inspired by and developed from the graffiti of New York, the bold colors of the city street are rendered in fine silk.
Lovegrove + Repucci’s ‘Urban(e)’ Silk Scarf uses the imagery and patterns of street graffiti. What could normally be seen as banal, [...]

Recently publishing it’s last issue, Domino magazine, fullfilling the vague prophecy hinted at in it’s name, has fallen. (or is that just a terrible reference? I apologize) Domino, we are sorry to see you go. We really enjoyed the magazine and it’s fresh point of view on design and lifestyle. The odd thing for us about the [...]

We were thrilled to be mentioned in a recent article in the Washington Post. Called ‘Clay’s Big Day’, writer Blake Gopnik reviewed the exhibit ‘Dirt on Delight: Impulses That Form Clay’ at the University of Pennsylvania’s Institute of Contemporary Art. A very interesting review. While not in the exhibit, Gopnik sighted our ‘New York’ Delft [...]
